We visit Ten’ei every winter and summer to hold our programs there. We have met over 600 students from Ten’ei and brought over 40 members with diverse backgrounds to Ten’ei. We are currently working on developing online contents for Ten’ei during the pandemic.

Tamura City

Tamura city is unique as this is our only summer camp! Most of our programs are one-day, however with Tamura we work with ALTs in Tamura city to host a 2 night 3 day program. This program allows us to measure students growth on a longer period and have challenged us to think outside of the box.

TESHIO CITY

Teshio city is one of the most northern cities of Japan, located on the Northern tip of Hokkaido. We work with both middle and high school students in our programs. In past projects, we had JAL join our program, which has been an exciting addition for both students and volunteers!

YANAKA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Yanaka is our first elementary school we worked with. We focused on English games that expose students to English and made sure it was fun, so that English isn’t seen as a boring subject.

Kinuta middle school

Kinuta Middle School was our first program that dealt with students with special needs. With high levels of interest and passion in English education, the students were actively involved in having conversations in English. It was a wonderful experience having to meet a fantastic group of students.

Our first program in the south of Japan! We traveled to Okinawa to Yomitan village, where we worked in hand with the village radio to produce this program. We were extremely lucky to have met both middle and high school students with high ambition.
